About
The vision of INNOV-8-2-CREATE is to support and sustain a more connected, inclusive and efficient innovation ecosystem in Europe. Over 24 months, the project will gather innovation stakeholders and ensure a joined-up initiative to enhance knowledge exchange locally, regionally and internationally.
The overarching goal of INNOV-8-2-CREATE is to deliver transformative change that will embed processes, structure, and systems focused on future proofing and institutionalising innovation across various ecosystems with universities acting as engines of innovation.
INNOV-8-2-CREATE will foster collaboration among innovation stakeholders, delivering a transnational, transdisciplinary, pre-accelerator programme. The programme will enable new entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to be trained and supported on their innovation journey. I82C puts a focus on its EDI and aims at encouraging especially women researchers to share their ideas and accelerate innovation within minorities in various fields.
Timeline
Our structures, staff and resources are there to support members to organise in your own workplaces
Phase 1 (Innovation Assessment and Programme Design)
The first phase of the project includes mapping to evaluate the existing innovation ecosystems in Ireland, Italy and Latvia.
The second part of Phase 1 consists of the design of the transnational, transdisciplinary pre-accelerator. The existing successful initiative (Impact Accelerator) consists of a number of modules which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the participants.
Phase 2 (Programme Pilot, Reflection and Redesign)
The INNOV-8-2-CREATE programme will be rolled out in the second phase of the project. As this is a transnational initiative, core content delivery will be online with face-to-face mentoring between participants and TTO staff in individual partner institutes.
INNOV-8-CREATE will be a 12-week programme, with participants spending a minimum of two days per week working on it.
Phase 3 (Programme Delivery, Scaling and Sharing)
Phase 3 of this project will involve designing and running a second iteration of the INNOV-8-2-CREATE programme based on the learnings from Phase 2. Feedback from the Advisory Committee will also be gathered before commencement of Phase 3.
